Objectives of Bachelor of Computer Application [BCA] course

The program helps students in the following ways:

1. Demonstrates a substantial understanding of concepts in key areas of computer science; professional competence in developing software and in its design and implementation.

2. Carries out the required analysis and synthesis involved in computer systems, information systems and computer applications.

3. Develops sound practical skills in order to address problems which arise from computer systems and applications.

4. Demonstrates sound presentation and communication skills, which are required in the Computer industry


1. HS / PU in Science Stream with Physics and Mathematics, Or

2. Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) of this University, Or

3. Polytechnics in any disciplines, Or

4. Higher Secondary / Pre-University in Arts and Commerce, Vocational Stream with required subject will have to enroll for Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) simultaneously.

Course Details

The duration of Bachelor of Computer Applications program is of 3 years (6 semesters).

Introduction to Computer Programming Using C (P)
Basics of OS and PC Software (P)
2nd English for Professional Studies
Introduction to Computer Programming Using C (P)
Computer Based Accounting and Financial Management
Discrete Mathematics
Data Structure through C Language (P)

Fee Structure (For Regular Class Schedule)

Registration Fee: Rs. 7800/-

Training Fee: Rs. 2500/- per month

For Special Class Schedule

Registration Fee: Rs. 7800/-

Training Fee: Rs. 1500/- per month

N.B.: 1. Students not having Mathematics in class 12 will have to take Simultaneous Admission into BPP by paying additional fee of Rs.1500/-

          2. Training fee of BPP papers is Rs.3000/-
